Issue exists on a specific site's application pool Response Groups only. For example: The site has 2 Hunt Groups and 1 Interactive Response Group.

Pool Name: Pkorlyncfe01.fremont.lamrc.net (Standard Edition)

1. Selecting the "KR Main office" RG

1. Selecting the respective Korea Site service

1. Its opening the Response Group configuration tool page where we could see 2 HG and 1 IRG

1. We can Edit or create the Hunt Group

1. But is we try to Edit or Create the IRG its failed with below error

Cleared the Application, System and Lync server logs before reproducing the issue, we are getting the below log only after reproducing the issue.

Cause: An unhandled exception occurred.

Resolution: Check the exception.

Troubleshooting Steps Tried:

1. Tried with Different admin account still same issue
2. Admin account has all the required permission, because we are able to create the IRG on other sites FE.
3. Confirmed in IIS -> Rgsconfig -> Windows authentication only enabled and others are disabled.
4. Restarted the RSG service, but no luck.
5. Did IISRESET no luck.
6. Disabled all the third party services and tried to edit the IRG still same error.
7. Installed all the server and the windows update recently.
8. We reinstalled the ASP.NET but still same issue.

• For 32 bit:

  "%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe" -i

• For 64 bit:

  "%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe" –i

1. We added the following registry key

   HKLM>System>CurrentControlSet>Control>LSA

   DWORD: DisableLoopbackCheck

   Value: 1

2. Restarted the RGS service and did IISreset, still no luck we are unable to modify the Interactive response group "Korea-Main office".so reverted the changes we did.

Resolution:

Troubleshooting Step #8 actually resolved the issue after recycling all the application pools under IIS and waiting for several hours.
